Jürgen Schwab, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Jürgen Schwab, one of TechniData's four founding members, has served as the Chairman of the Board since TechniData became incorporated (AG) in 2000. As Chairman, he is responsible for the company's global strategy and its business development. Jürgen Schwab holds a degree in computer science.

Thomas Wrede Ph. D., Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Thomas Wrede, Ph. D. (Dr.) of economics, was appointed TechniData's Chief Financial Officer in October 2001. In that capacity, he is in charge of Finance, Human Resources and Administration. In his previous position, he served as the CFO of itelligence AG. Thomas Wrede holds a Ph. D. (Dr.) of economics from the University of Cologne.

Stephen Illes - CEO TechniData America LLC

Stephen Illes has over twenty-five years of experience in the Environment Health and Safety and Information Technology fields. Prior to coming to TechniData in 2002, Mr. Illes held the positions of product and business development manager with SAP, ran EH&S consulting businesses, and was on the EH&S corporate staff of a major chemical company. Mr. Illes has held several executive positions with TechniData in the areas of business development, marketing and sales. He was named Managing Director for TechniData America in 2008. He has a Masters Degree in EH&S.

Peggy Jones Swalwell - President TechniData America LLC

Peggy Swalwell has a Masters Degree in earth sciences and was one of the start-up members of TechniData America in 1998. Her career spans more than 25 years of experience in business development, sourcing, customer service and product safety. She has provided consulting expertise on integration of environmental, health and safety issues into core business processes for the chemical, pharmaceutical, and utility industries. She has previously served TechniData America as Consulting Director, COO, and CFO, and was named Managing Director in 2008.
